Students film the High Road

North Tottenham Townscape Heritage Initiative is commissioning Chocolate Films (external link) to create a short video with BTEC media students from Haringey Sixth Form. The film will tell the story of the High Road and the community it sustains. It will draw on three interviews with local people from different backgrounds to discover their thoughts on the social and built heritage of the High Road.

Students are being trained by experienced documentary filmmakers on storyboarding, planning and carrying out a shoot, as well as understanding the editing process. Guided by the professionals, the students will create an impactful, short film that will contribute to Chocolate Films' ambitious 1000 Londoners (external link) project.

The finished film is expected to be released in June this year.

Stay tuned!

This film is being supported by Haringey Sixth Form and Tottenham Grammar School Foundation.

  1. Great to see local businesses featured. Hello Turkan at Lillywhites sandwich shop, which has great Turkish delicacies, where Integrated Construction have installed our first traditional-style shopfront. More to come this summer with Cuttle Construction.
